Description
In the series »Auf der anderen Seite ist das Gras genauso grau« (»on the other side the grass is just as grey«) I dealt with the topic of the classical family role model, asking myself how I define the concept of home and family. By using grass and fences several times, I visualized my thoughts about the proverb saying that »the grass is always greener on the other side«.
I enjoy playing with shadows and watching objects taking on a different dimension when the light hits them. This indefinable, even mysterious, »other side« with which I deal in this work often arises only through the visual interplay of light and shadow.The wheel of fortune is showing grey grass in each slice. No matter how you turn it, »on the other side the grass is just as grey«.
