Born in Berlin | Biology studies at the FU Berlin, diploma / Fashion design studies at the Accademia Italiana Arte, Moda e Design Florence, diploma / Fashion designer, Italy and Germany / 2008-2013 Studies at the Akademie für Malerei Berlin, master student of Ute Wöllmann

After international study and work stays, she lives and works in Berlin. Her works are represented in private collections.

Birgit Maaß' work deals in an interdisciplinary and conceptual way with our existence, the human being in society and his perception. Her media adapt to the needs of the respective work and extend to painting, objects, sculptures and installations.
