Max von Schwerin lives and works in Bad Oldesloe.

Born in Cologne in 1982, the artist Max von Schwerin originally wanted to become a writer, but came to painting via illustration. Here he seeks direct, unaffected expression through clear, continuous lines. This painting arises from his subconscious and attempts to capture dynamics.

The artist's aim is for the viewer to enter into a dialogue with the work of art. His expectations and experiences set the painting in motion and reflect his own identity. In this sense, his work is an individual memory.
