Margarita Morales’ art is abstract and yet it contains very concrete moments of reality and nature. Our interviewer Alexandra Karg visited the Mexican artist in her Berlin home/ studio. In front of one of her most recent paintings – and with enough corona distance in between –, Margarita Morales told us about her influences and what attracts her to paint large-format pictures.
Margarita Morales’ are currently exhibited in two solo shows in Mexico: in the CIE Centro de Innovación y Educación in Los Mochis and one in the Museo de la Pinacoteca de Tamaulipas.
