Currently I paint artists, e.g. visual artists, singers, performers, actors and writers, for a series called \u201cPersona\u201d. Starting with a photo I take of each artist, I try to explore the field between their public image and a more private, real \u201cme\u201d of them. The artist\u2019s personality and my intuition set the frame and help me choosing a painting technique.
