“Flags of a shifted territory<\/em> ist eine Gruppenausstellung mit 10 Positionen zeitgeno\u0308ssischer Ku\u0308nstlerInnen. Der Fokus der Ausstellung liegt auf Textilarbeiten.\u00a0Mit Textilarbeit verbindet man traditionell handwerkliche Produktion. Die Funktion des Textils begru\u0308ndet sich oft auf Ritualen oder Zeremonien, u\u0308ber Generation weitergegebenes kulturelles Erbe, regionale Bezu\u0308ge.\u00a0Flaggen und Wappen grenzen Territorien ab. Sowohl Gebiete als auch Gesellschaften werden abgegrenzt. Der zeitgeno\u0308ssische Aspekt der Textilkunst sind neue, schnellere Mo\u0308glichkeiten der Textilproduktion: das digitale Drucken, Sublimationsdruck, Serigraphie, Fast Fashion, usw… Die Ausstellung\u00a0Flags of a shifted\u00a0territory<\/em> versammelt installative, spielerische, dekorative aber auch politische Arbeiten. Durch das\u00a0Zusammenspiel von Material und den Inhalten findet eine Kontextverschiebung statt, die dem Textil als Material in der zeitgeno\u0308ssischen Kunst eine aktuelle Inhaltlichkeit verleiht.”
