Mit ihrem permanenten und exzessiven Einsatz sind jedoch zahlreiche negative Auswirkungen verbunden. Ku\u0308nstliches Licht ermo\u0308glicht einerseits kulturelle Events, bietet sozialen Raum und Schutz, kann Menschen, Objekte oder Konsumartikel inszenieren und ihnen dadurch Bedeutung verleihen. Andererseits wird mit dem gezielten Einsatz von elektrischem Licht Macht ausgeu\u0308bt: Mit ihm kann u\u0308berwacht, manipuliert, ausgegrenzt oder sogar zersto\u0308rt werden. Die Ausstellung\u00a0<em>Macht! Licht!\u00a0<\/em>bietet mit rund 100 Lichtkunstwerken von 65 international bekannten Ku\u0308nstler*innen erstmals einen Einblick in das faszinierende Spektrum von im weiteren Sinne politischer Lichtkunst.<\/p>\n<p><em>Artificial light sources are a basic condition of modern global life. However, there are numerous negative effects associated with their permanent and excessive use.<br \/>On the one hand, artificial light makes cultural events possible, provides social space and protection, can stage people, objects or consumer articles and thereby giving them meaning. On the other hand, power is exercised with the targeted use of electric light: it can be used to monitor, manipulate, exclude or even destroy. The exhibition\u00a0Power!
